Game Night Athletic Trainer job posting

The Port Moody Panthers Junior Hockey Club is seeking a game-night Athletic Trainer for the upcoming season.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Attend all Panthers games during the 2023-24 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.
  • Communicating with and updating hockey operations staff regarding player injuries, conditions, and recovery.
  • Maintaining records regarding players’ injuries and treatment plans.
  • Documentation of all injuries, training, and treatment plans.
  • Administer HEADCHECK Health concussion platform for all players.

Position Requirements

  • Valid criminal record check.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Respect in Sport.
  • Concussion Awareness Training Tool.
  • HU – ONLINE safety.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with a competitive-level sports team.
  • Understanding of the sports team environment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary is commensurate based on experience.
