The Port Moody Panthers announced today that the club has acquired forward Evan Fedele from the Ridge Meadows Flames in exchange for future considerations.
Fedele, a 2004-born forward, played 45 games with Ridge Meadows during the 2023-24 season, registering 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points. His 10 power play goals last season tied for third overall in the Pacific Junior Hockey League and his 12 power play assists were tied for sixth best in the league.
With six game-winning goals, Fedele was also tied for third-most in the PJHL in 2023-24. He added three goals and two assists in 13 playoff games as the Flames won the Ray Stonehouse Cup championship and was named to the Harold Brittain Conference post-season All-Star Team.
The product of Coquitlam also put up six goals and 10 assists for 16 points in 80 games for the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BC Hockey League from 2021 to 2023. He is a product of the Burnaby Winter Club in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League, playing there for three seasons from 2018 to 2021.
