The Port Moody Panthers today announced the acquisition of defenseman Ethan Ferrara from the Delta Ice Hawks in exchange for future considerations.
Ferrera, a 2003-born blueliner, played ten games with the Ice Hawks as a rookie this season and posted one assist.
The Vancouver, BC product was with the Greater Vancouver Canadians U18 AAA team in the BC Elite Hockey League in 2020-21, finishing with a goal and an assist in three exhibition games.
In 2019-20, Ferrara had a goal and four assists in 39 games for the Canadians.
He will make his Panthers debut on Friday at home against the White Rock Whalers. Puck drop is 8 pm at the Port Moody Arena. Admission is $10 and is available at the door. Proof of vaccination protocols is in place.
