Panthers acquire forward Beckham Angus from Aldergrove

The Port Moody Panthers announced today that the club has acquired 2006-born forward Beckham Angus from the Aldergrove Kodiaks in exchange for future considerations.

Angus played in 30 games for the Kodiaks this season, posting eight points (7-1-8) and 12 penalty minutes. He led Aldergrove in goals with seven and power play goals with two.

In 77 career Pacific Junior Hockey League games, all with the Kodiaks, the 6’1”, 172 lbs. forward has recorded 27 points (15-12-27) and 40 penalty minutes.

A native of Surrey, Angus is an alumnus of the Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association, playing for the Under-18 A1 Tier 1 team in 2022-23 and the Under-18 A2 Tier 2 team in 2021-22.

He is the younger brother of Panthers goaltender Ty Angus and is expected to make his Panthers debut wearing number 15 on Sunday at home against Richmond.
