Panthers alumnus Adam Manji invited to Toronto Maple Leafs summer development camp

The Port Moody Panthers would like to announce that alumnus Adam Manji has been invited to attend the 2025 Toronto Maple Leafs summer development camp as a free agent. The camp got underway in Toronto on Thursday and continues this weekend.

Manji, 21, spent the 2024-25 season playing NCAA hockey at American International College, where he finished with a 2-1-0 record to go along with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage in seven appearances.

The New Westminster, BC product will transfer to Lake Superior State this fall following the drop of the AIC men’s hockey program from NCAA Division I to NCAA Division II.

He played with the Coquitlam Express of the BC Hockey League from 2021 through to 2024. Manji’s totals with the Express place him second all-time in games played, third all-time in wins, and first in minutes played and saves.

Manji signed with the Panthers in September 2020 but didn’t play any games in Port Moody because he was still with the Victoria Grizzlies as their third goalie during the BCHL’s exhibition season. Before he could get into a game with the Panthers or Grizzlies, COVID-19 restrictions halted the PJHL regular season and the BCHL exhibition season.
