The Port Moody Panthers announced their 2024-25 regular season schedule today. Port Moody opens the campaign on the road on Saturday, Sept. 7 against the White Rock Whalers. The Panthers home opener at Port Moody Arena is on Sunday, Sept. 8 versus the Delta Ice Hawks.
Following the team’s home opener, Port Moody plays three straight road games — one in Port Coquitlam, one in Gibsons against the expansion Coastal Tsunami, and the other versus Abbotsford — before returning home to take on the Harold Brittain Conference champion Richmond Sockeyes on Sunday, Sept. 22.

Settling in for six: The Panthers have one season-high six-game homestand during the 2024-25 season, spanning Sunday, Jan. 5 through Monday, Jan. 27.
Back-to-back showdowns: The Panthers play 11 sets of back-to-backs, including three in September and December, two in January, and one each in October, November, and February.
On the road again: The Panthers have three season-long stretches of three straight road games during the 2024-25 season. The first starts in Port Coquitlam on Friday, Sept. 13, and ends Friday, Sept. 20 in Abbotsford, the second begins in Surrey on Thursday, Nov. 14, and concludes in Richmond on Thursday, Nov. 21, and the third opens on Tuesday, Feb. 4 in Delta before wrapping up in Ridge Meadows on Friday, Feb. 7.
Working for the weekend: 25 of the Panthers’ 46 scheduled games this season (54.3%) take place on either Saturday or Sunday, with seven taking place on Saturdays, and 18 being held on Sundays (all at home).
Winter Classic: The Panthers still have two games to be scheduled at the 2024 Pacific Junior Hockey League Winter Classic, which is Saturday, Dec. 28 through Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Minoru Arena in Richmond. Port Moody will face the Langley Trappers and Surrey Knights at the annual event with dates and times announced at a later date.
