With the British Columbia Hockey Conference and BC Hockey announcing the alignment of sanctioned Junior A hockey in British Columbia for the 2025-26 season, the Panthers organization wants to emphasize its continued commitment to development.
While several teams from the Pacific Junior Hockey League applied for Junior A Tier 1 status, the Panthers did not apply and will continue to operate at the Junior A Tier 2 level.
Our organization remains fully committed to developing players and providing them with opportunities to advance to higher levels of hockey, including the Canadian Junior Hockey League, Western Hockey League, BC Intercollegiate Hockey League, U SPORTS, NCAA, and professional leagues. Over the years, we have built a strong tradition of fostering talent and preparing athletes for success. That focus will not change as we move forward.
The Panthers will continue to compete in the PJHL as a Junior A Tier 2 team, which remains a highly competitive league dedicated to player development and progression. We are excited about the future of our program and look forward to working with our athletes to help them achieve their hockey goals.
We appreciate the continued support of our fans, sponsors, and the Port Moody community as we embark on the next chapter of Panthers hockey.
