Panthers sign 2007-born defender Jaden Kwan

The Port Moody Panthers announced today that the club has signed 2007-born defender Jaden Kwan.

From Burnaby, B.C., Kwan appeared in 19 games with the Surrey Knights this season, tallying three points (1-2-3) and eight penalty minutes.

The 5’8”, 140 lbs. blueliner is a product of the Vancouver Northwest Hawks program in the British Columbia Elite Hockey League. He spent the 2023-24 season with the NW Hawks U17 AAA team and finished with five assists in 29 games.

Kwan also played two games with the NW Hawks U18 AAA squad as an affiliate player last season. He scored six points (2-4-6) in 37 games with the U17 AAA team as a 15-year-old in 2022-23.

Wearing number 8, Kwan made his Panthers debut in Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss against Chilliwack.
