North Van Minor Hockey Association forward Nick Dunn signs with the Panthers

The Port Moody Panthers are excited to announce the signing of 2004-born forward Nick Dunn for the 2022-23 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.

Dunn, a resident of North Vancouver, played with his hometown under-18 A1 Tier 1 team in 2021-22 and was its captain.

“I’m excited about playing in Port Moody with the Panthers because it will get me to the next level of hockey I want to play at and give me the opportunity to strengthen my game through their coaching and development,” Dunn said.

Dunn was also a member of the North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association U18 A1 Tier 1 team in from 2019-21. He looks forward to wearing a Panthers jersey on the path to advancing in his hockey career.

“Goals that I have set for myself include playing at the next level by building my confidence on and off the ice,” explained Dunn.

He is a skilled player who will help add some scoring and sandpaper to the Panthers’ forward group.

“I would describe my game as (that of) a power forward, skating into the slot with a heavy shot,” added Dunn.

Dunn is the first incoming player to sign with the Panthers for the 2022-23 PJHL season.
