The Port Moody Panthers are proud to announce the signing of 2007-born forward Kai Massullo for the 2025-26 Pacific Junior Hockey League season..
Massullo spent 2024-25 with the U18 A1 Panthers in the Port Moody Amateur Hockey Association.
“I grew up in Port Moody and have been a proud Panther since initiation. Playing for the Panthers (in the PJHL) allows me to continue representing the city that I love and where I live and work. I’m passionate about making my hometown Panthers a success!” said Massullo.
Massullo looks forward to playing his first season of junior hockey. “I want to learn and develop my game at a higher level of hockey to become comfortable at this level. Then I want to work to become a strong contributor to the team’s success while continuing to develop my own game.”
He calls himself a team-first player who works hard on every shift. “I would describe my best assets as hustle, speed and team awareness. On defence – hard, physical back-checking to cause opposing teams to turn the puck over quickly. On offence – quick transition with speed to create space in the offensive end for a quick chance or create space for teammates to get open for scoring opportunities.”
Massullo is the third recruit signed by the Panthers for the 2025-26 season.
