Coquitlam Minor Hockey forward Kayden Edwards commits to the Panthers for 2021-22

The Port Moody Panthers are excited to announce the signing of 2004-born forward Kayden Edwards for the 2021-22 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.

Edwards, who’s from Coquitlam, was signed with his hometown A1 Tier 1 Under-18 Chiefs this past season.

He spent the 2019-20 season with the Vancouver North East Chiefs Under-17 team in the BC U17 AAA League. In 26 games with the NE Chiefs, Edwards had three goals and 12 points.

One of Edwards’ goals came on the power play, while he also contributed four assists on the man advantage. His efforts earned him Vancouver’s “Beast Mode” / Most Physical Award for the season. Prior to playing with the NE Chiefs, Edwards spent all of his hockey career in the Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association.

He joins Joshua Noh, Marcus Olsen, Dong Eun Lee, and Ryan Tong as first-year players signed by the Panthers for the 2021-22 PJHL season.
