Kim signs with the BCHL’s Victoria Grizzlies as an affiliate player

The Port Moody Panthers announced today that forward Andrew Kim has signed with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BC Hockey League as an affiliate player.

Kim, a 2003-born forward from Burnaby, is fifth in scoring on the Panthers this season with five goals and five assists in only six games. His 1.67 points-per-game is tops on the team and his six power play points are tied for third-most on the Panthers.

He has some BCHL experience with the Langley Rivermen during the 2020-21 extended training camp last fall. In five games with the Rivermen, Kim notched a pair of assists.

Kim joins 2004-born defenseman Ryan Tong as Panthers players signed as affiliate players by teams at a higher level.
