Panthers acquire Chan from the Steelers

The Port Moody Panthers announced today that they have acquired defender Enver Chan from the Grandview Steelers in exchange for future considerations.

Chan, a 2005-born blueliner, skated in 19 games this season with the Steelers, scoring his first career PJHL goal on Nov. 5, 2023 against Abbotsford. The 5’9″, 168-pound defender also chipped in with four assists with Grandview as a rookie this season.

The Burnaby, B.C. product made his PJHL debut in 2022-23 as an affiliate player for the Panthers and notched his first point in the league — an assist — on Dec. 3, 2022 against Langley.

He played with the Burnaby U18 Bulldogs last season after spending two years within the Vancouver North East Chiefs program in the BC Elite Hockey League.
