The Port Moody Panthers announced today that they have signed 2008-born forward Alistair Lind for the 2026-27 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.
Lind played the last two seasons with the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association U18 A1 Tier 1 team. In 2024-25, he also suited up for Samuel Robertson Technical Secondary School and finished with six points (five goals, one assist) in four games.
“I’m excited to play for the Panthers,” said Lind. “I’ve heard great things about the organization and watched a few games last year. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team this year.”
Before his 2024-25 season, the forward played in the 2023-24 campaign with the Ridge Meadows MHA U18 A1 Tier 2 squad.
“My goal for this season is to move up the lineup, play in the finals, and move up to Junior A next year,” noted Lind, who describes himself as a hard-working, gritty playmaker.
A native of Maple Ridge, Lind played in the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association for his entire minor hockey career. explained Lind.
He was recently in training camp with the Ridge Meadows Flames of the BC Hockey Conference and got into two pre-season games with them.
Lind made his Panthers’ debut on Sept. 11 in Aldergrove and tallied his first career PJHL point (an assist) on Sept. 19 against Mission City.
